I am Mila Tarasenkov. I work for Windsor Manor Assisted Living in Indianola as an Activity Director. I’ve been working here for a number of years, I’ve been Resident’s Assistant or Activity Director. I really enjoy spending lots of hours here with the best staff and the most precious residents.

I was born in the Country of Ukraine and moved to the United States as an immigrant in 1996. I lived in Vancouver WA for six years, then my family moved to Iowa in 2002. Iowa is my second home.

I finished high school in 1998. I went to Clark College in Vancouver, WA, and finished Medical Assistant Program. Got my degree in 2002.

I also finished Music School. I play the piano and bandura ( 60 strings instrument ). I love to sing gospel songs and I love to play the piano. I love helping people. I have big respect for elders and I love to serve elders.

I am trilingual, I speak Ukrainian, Russian and English languages. I am so glad that I live in the USA. It is my favorite country. I love to travel to the states and other countries when I get a chance. I love nature, love walking, camping, bonfire, cooking, doing crafts, making cards, making pictures collages, walking by the ocean, boating on the lakes, flying an airplane, or driving a car. I love to spend time with family, friends, and WM Residents.

I am married to Yevgeniy and have three lovely daughters, Angelina-13, Juliana-12, and Lily-3. I cannot imagine my life without my adorable kids. They are all God’s miracle of His grace.
